After the great success of the first event for “Easybasket in Europe” project, held at the Palasassi of Matera last February 25th, in the presence of more than 150 instructors and operators in the sector, and the two days of the kickoff meeting in mid-March (also in the city dei Sassi), the time has come for the second international meeting of the Erasmus + project, scheduled in Hagen, Germany, from 9 to 10 June.
The DBB Deutscher Basketball Bund (Basketball Federation of Germany) is hosting the meeting, whose the staff is composed of Tim Brentjes, Peter Radegast, Stefan Mienack, Jürgen Maaßmann, Georg Kleine and Henk Paulus Wedel.
The meeting will see by the presence of representatives of the various project partners: FIP – Italian Basketball Federation, with the Head of the Minibasket sector, Maurizio Cremonini together with its staff Roberta Regis, Marco Greco and Fabio Bagni, APD Pielle Basket Matera, represented by Cristiano Grappasonni, ASD Cultura and Sport Matera, represented by Francesca Montemurro, Czech Basketball Federation (Czech Republic Basketball Federation) represented by Jiri Novotny and Milena Moulisova, Danmarks Basketball Forbund (Denmark Basketball Federation) represented by Thomas Johansen and Sona Camara, Fundaciòn Red Deporte y Cooperaciòn (NGO based in Madrid) represented by Carlos DeCarcer.
In Germany it will be possible to check the progress of the project and discuss the new model of Easybasket, which will be developed and tested, but will also contribute to the realization of the final products, such as the European Easybasket guide, one of the objectives of the project. A training course for coaches and instructors will also be proposed, completely focused on the new Esasybasket method.
After Hagen, other international meetings will follow involving the partners and aiming at improving and then spreading the Italian model of the minibasket for children aged 6 to 8 years.
