Erasmus + “Easybasket In Europe – EIE” project continues on its way: after the great success of the first multiplier event held at Palasassi in Matera (Italy) the 25th Febbruary with an audience of more than 150 coaches and technician of Minibasket and the Kickoff meeting, held always in Matera, the European Capital City of Culture for 2019, the 12th-15th March, the partnes are preparing the next transnational meeting, which will take place in Hagen (Germany).
Project partners will be hosted by the DBB Deutscher Basketball Bund (National Basketball Federation of Germany), whose staff, that is highly specialized and expert in Minibasket sector, is composed by Mr. Tim Brentjes, Mr. Peter Radegast, Mr. Stefan Mienack, Mr. Jürgen Maaßmann, Mr. Georg Kleine, Mr. Henk Paulus Wedel. The meeting will be held the first week of June 2019 and precisely from 8th to 10th June, in the city of Hagen.
The following partners will join the meeting: FIP – Italian National Basketball Federation, APD Pielle Basket Matera, ASD Cultura e Sport Matera, Czech Basketball Federation, Danmarks Basketball Forbund (Danish
National Basketball Federation), Fundaciòn Red Deporte y Cooperaciòn (NGO – Madrid).
The partners will have the opportunity of verifying the project milestones and will debate on the new Easybasket model that will be developped and tested: they will exchange experiences and knowledge, work to plan and program together, but also to contribute to realize the intellectual outputs, like the Easybasket guide, that will be the results of the project.
An Easybasket training course will be held to train coaches and teachers coming from German Federation. The meeting in Hagen is only the first international meeting that will involve the partners of the project till the end of 2019. Easybasket in Europe, it is right to reiterate it, first look at the improvement and then at the subsequent diffusion of the Italian model of the minibasket for children aged 6 to 8 years, always sharing everything with the partners.
